Field meetings Summer 2018

At last a few meetings for the summer after the cold late Spring. As with other years most are targeting 1km x 1km squares (monads) to try and get totals of species found in the wild over 200 for a lowland Cornwall monad and over 100 for moorland ones (mostly Bodmin Moor). Some meetings are included which have been organised by other groups but of interest to BCG members or contacts. These are marked with *. Walks start at 10 am UNLESS NOTED (try to get to the meeting place by 9.30 am) and usually finish at around 4 pm.  Suitable clothing and footwear is recommended and bring a packed lunch. Leader/contact for all walks is Ian Bennallick unless stated otherwise. Botanical Cornwall Group Co-ordinator – Ian Bennallick, Lower Polmorla, St Wenn, Bodmin, Cornwall, PL30 5PE.
